Multi-supplier Product Pipeline & Commerce Build
Automated product pipeline engineering processing data from seven suppliers — 3Monkeez, Sammic, Zanolli, SKOPE, Roband, Hussmann, and HOBART — each with disparate file formats, header structures, and image sources. SKU detection, automated web scraping, image processing, AI content generation, and Shopify-ready import via Matrixify.
Each of the seven suppliers delivers product data in a completely different format — different column headers, different attribute naming, different image hosting. Some provide Excel files, others CSVs, and some require web scraping to extract current catalogue data. Manually processing this into a unified Shopify catalogue was taking weeks per supplier update.
We engineered a unified pipeline in Google Apps Script that accepts data from any supplier format, detects SKUs against existing catalogue, normalises attributes, processes images through Cloudinary, generates product descriptions via OpenAI, and outputs Shopify-ready imports via Matrixify. A supplier update that previously took 2-3 weeks now completes in under an hour.
